Italy Yacht Charters
With approximately 4,660 miles of coastline, a yacht charter Italy is bound to surprise you around each corner- lose yourself in the artistic, fishing village of Portofino, trace the Amalfi Coast, before continuing to the glamorous island of Capri and picturesque Postitano. Cruise to the shopping and jet-set hangouts of Sardinia and timeless Sicily.
Italy is a land of passion and romance, of history and culture, of beauty varied in its nature. The volcanic Aeolian Islands rise in angular contrast to the more subdued but no less beautiful Emerald Coast of Sardinia. The picturesque Amalfi coast, near the Bay of Naples, is the essence of serenity and tradition. Bustling Palermo, in Sicily, boasts a uniquely scenic appeal, as do the outer islands off the Sicilian coast. An Italy yacht charter offers a rich diversity in experiences, a sampling of the best in the Mediterranean.

The Italy charter season generally runs from April to the end of October. The summer season for Italy is in July and August. This is also the high season as far as yacht charter goes. Other good times to charter your yacht are generally on either of the shoulder seasons (April-May and September-October), each side of the main summer season, as the temperatures are still comfortable, and the onshore tourists have yet to arrive in their largest numbers.
Regions Worth Highlighting
Sardinia
An emerald sea with small and large coves and pure white sand: this is Sardinia, an island that amazes visitors with its natural contrasts, light and colours. A land of ancient traditions, still dominated by wild and uncontaminated nature
Huge blueness dominates with its shades, penetrating into winding coves, along the coasts and the many beaches. A paradise for people who love the sea, water sports, trekking and snorkeling.
The Aeolians: The Volcanic Islands
Seven splendid islands off the coast of northern Sicily.
The Aeolian Islands are one of 58 UNESCO World Heritage sites in Italy. The Archipelago of the Aeolian Islands consist of seven exquisite islands off the coast of Sicily – Lipari, Panarea, Vulcano, Stromboli, Salina, Alicudi and Filicudi – in addition to smaller islets and giant boulders. They all emerge from an uncontaminated sea, created by still-active volcanoes (Stromboli and Vulcano), and blessed by a savage beauty.
Lampedusa
Lampedusa is one of the most-frequented destinations for sun-worshippers, scuba-divers and nature lovers, and it is the last trace of Italian terrain before the African coast.
Lampedusa, a glorious sun-bleached island south of Sicily, helps to create the Pelagian Archipelago, along with neighboring island Linosa and Lampione. Lampedusa contains within it the environmental characteristics of two continents and is only 70 miles from Tunisia, and 109 miles from Sicily.
