Island Hoppin’ was commissioned on November 10, 2017 in the beautiful Virgin Islands. She was built in Bordeaux, France before being moved to St.Thomas, U.S.V.I. for her service. Island Hoppin’ was designed to provide families, couples, and friends with the time of their lives exploring the world in luxury. She has the capacity for up to 8 guests who come aboard to experience something that will become unforgetable and unmatched to all in her class. Captain Dean and Chef Yana were brought together on the beautiful shores of Singapore in SE Asia. Yana had already been studying and working as a stewardess in Singapore for 4 years before Dean’s journey brought him there for work as a Bosun and Dive Instructor on a world cruising 167ft Yacht. It was love at first sight and that is where they decided to go on a life journey with each other and make their dreams come true of sailing the oceans together.
